Effective Date: July 2, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how The Legitness Company LLC, doing business as Battle Ready ("Battle Ready," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our website, applications, and services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

We are based in Anchorage, Alaska, United States. The Platform is intended for users in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly:

  • Account information: name, email address, username, password (stored only in hashed form), and profile details you choose to add (headline, bio, avatar, cover image, links, primary focus area).
  • Payment information: processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number or security code on our servers; Stripe handles that. We may retain limited billing records (such as transaction history, subscription status, and the card brand and last four digits as provided by Stripe).
  • Community and user content: posts, comments, reactions, direct messages, journal entries you choose to share, goals, habits, accountability-group activity, event RSVPs, and uploaded images.
  • Communications: messages you send to support, survey responses, and feedback.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically:

  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, actions taken (such as course progress and habit check-ins), and timestamps.
  • Device and technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and referring pages.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 7.

2.3 Information From Third Parties:

  • Stripe: subscription and payment status.
  • Brevo (our email provider): delivery and engagement data (for example, whether an email was opened), if you receive our communications.
  • Other service providers as described in Section 4.

2.4 Sensitive and Voluntary Content. Some content you voluntarily create — such as journal entries or accountability topics — may reflect personal or spiritual reflections. You control what you write and what you share. Private journal entries are treated as private to you unless you explicitly choose to share them (for example, to an accountability group). We do not collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, or health records from users.

2.5 Children. The Platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Members between 13 and 17 may use the Platform only with parental or guardian consent and supervision. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

  • comply with our legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent it to third parties. We share information only as follows:

Direct messages are visible to their participants. Please do not post anything you would not want other members to see.

4.3 Marketing Use of Your Content. Consistent with our Terms of Service, content and testimonials you provide or post may be used to promote and market the Platform and the Battle Ready brand. See our Terms of Service for the applicable license.

4.5 Business Transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or of any materially different use of your information.

4.6 With Your Consent. In any other case, with your consent.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (such as certain financial and tax records) or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention and security. Content you shared with others or that was incorporated into community features or marketing before deletion may persist as described in our Terms of Service.

The Platform may link to or embed third-party content (such as videos) or integrate third-party services. This Policy does not apply to those third parties; please review their privacy policies.

10. International Users

The Platform is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
